Blunt damage is any trauma done by a blunt object. Baseball bats, bricks, maces, clubs, and the butt of a rifle are all valid sources of Blunt damage. Blunt damage can cause broken bones or ruptured organs. Most Blunt damage is dealt by attacks from weapons, and should be treated exactly as is described in the combat section. If the GM decides that a character has suffered a broken bone, the injury itself can be healed immediately but the bone itself will actually take 2d10 weeks to heal, and the penalties incurred by the injury will continue to be incurred until the end of that time.

Punching and kicking are types of Blunt attack. They are the only "weapons" with no base damage.
