The following is a list of powers that the creatures of darkness possess, or that the GM can use to power his own fiendish creations. Unless otherwise noted, a creature uses a power by rolling on the number in parentheses next to the name of the power in the creature's individual listing. The creature listing will also often indicate the way the creature normally uses the ability. The creature will normally only use the power in the way intended. However, note that there aren’t hard rules and charts for some of the more intricate powers. This is designed that way because the GM should be in charge of storytelling, not the rules. If there is any question regarding what a power does and how it works, it’s up to the GM to decide exactly what happens. If he decides a creature’s listing says it can jump 100 feet in the air, and the GM says it can jump 200, that’s entirely in his court. If the rules leave something out or are unclear, it’s most likely for the purpose of giving the GM more control and not hindering his storytelling by forcing him to follow a set rule.
