The Crimson Tide is a gang operating out of Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dublin, and London. Their membership is mostly comprised of lower-class vampires, Renfields who act as their servants, and human "vampire wanne-be's" who willingly donate their blood in hopes of joining their ranks. Several clubs, including the Verve in San Francisco, are constantly crawling with them, and any biker gang driving red-and-black motorcycles are most likely a part of the group. Like any gang, their major mission is to rule their turf and gain credibility in the eyes of other groups... ESPER included. There have been several large crimes perpetrated by the Crimson Tide for the sole purpose of getting put on ESPER's watch list, but ESPER continues to view them as just another gang (albeit one with supernatural origins), probably just to piss them off.
