The creature is alive, even though it is dead. Rather than blood, its body operates on dark energies. It cannot be suffocated or bleed out, is immune to all human ailments, and can only be destroyed under certain conditions. No matter how much damage it takes, it will continue to move and live, even in pieces. The only way to stop it is usually to be found in the individual creature’s listings.
